先週にはAndroid版もリリースされ、画像共有サービスの中でも勢いをものにしている無料アプリ「Instagram」をfacebookが買収することが決定合意されたようです。しかもその額なんと10億ドルとのことです。
これまでの買収は、様々なサービスをfacebookに組み込んできた形でしたが今回は少し違う模様。

facebookのサービスには組み込まれない

今回の買収はfacebookとInstagramの機能的連携を計るためのものであると言えます。
